We’re seeing double! Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi took to Instagram on Wednesday, Nov. 8, to share several side-by-side snaps of herself and her adorable three-year-old daughter, Giovanna. Though they’re separated by 26 years, Snooki and her little girl look like identical twins.
As fans are well aware, the reality star, 29 — who also shares son Lorenzo, 5, with husband Jionni LaValle — and her mini-me daughter are inseparable. Snooki frequently posts pics with Giovanna, who she affectingly calls “Sissy,” on social media. Back in July, the mom-of-two posted a sweet selfie with Giovanna, in which they rocked matching Snapchat-filtered flower crowns.
While Snooki thinks it’s fun that she and Giovanna bear a striking resemblance, she hopes that her daughter doesn’t inherit her party girl ways — as fans witnessed on six seasons of Jersey Shore from 2009 to 2012. During a February 2016 interview with SiriusXM’s Wake Up! With Taylor podcast, the former MTV personality said she hopes her kids learn from the mistakes she made on TV.
“I’m literally going to just be honest with them because that’s the relationship that I want with them: to be honest but them to know that I’m the parent,” she said at the time. “[I’ll] just be like: ‘You know, Mommy just turned 21, it was the first time she could get into bars and clubs and she went nuts. You’re going to experience that when you’re 21, but wait till you’re 21 and learn from my mistakes.’”
Want to thank everyone who made my kids party possible!!! Shout out to @asweetstoryevents for setting this whole display up! & for all the goodies- @balloon.bliss.inc @made_by_jennifer_ ❤️? cannot wait to use you guys next year!!! My favorite was the Moana Cotton Candy Dress & the Decorate Your Own Cookies for the kids!!!!!
And it’s not just her wild child persona that she prays Giovanna and Lorenzo won’t adopt; she would also like them to steer clear of the world of unscripted television. “I’d rather not [see them follow in my footsteps] — that’s Mommy’s job, you guys do something else!” Snooki added. “But if they truly wanted to do it, I would support them. I’m like every other mother, I want them to be a doctor, a lawyer or an astronaut! Something crazy.”
