Reunited at last! Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber are proving that time heals all wounds. The exes were spotted having breakfast together at JOi Cafe in Westlake Village, CA just days before news broke that Selena and The Weeknd split. They were also later seen attending a church service together. Here’s everything we know about the current status of their relationship.
Selena is “vulnerable” to rebounding with Justin.
“Due to the fact that Selena and Justin had a relationship that lasted half a decade she is very vulnerable to rebounding with him even if she knows in her mind that it is not the right thing to do,” Dr. Danielle Forshee, LLC Doctor of Psychology exclusively told Life & Style. “When somebody comes out of a relationship they are always emotionally vulnerable to reverting back to hold habits (old relationships) or engaging in some other kind of behavior where they can feel the ‘high’ that can distract him/her from the negative thoughts or feelings that accompany a breakup.”
They seem to be taking things slow this time.
The two definitely seemed to be enjoying their time together when they were hanging out at JOi Cafe — but they kept it pretty casual. “Justin and Selena came in by themselves around 9:30 this morning. They grabbed breakfast, blueberry smoothies with whipped cream, and were just talking — none of the staff really recognized them,” a source told Us Weekly. “Justin paid for both of them, they looked to be in a good mood, they just sat at a table and chatted for a while, no hand holding or anything, the conversation seemed lighthearted.”
Justin tried to pretend he and Selena never met up.
But, TMZ caught up with Justin later on and he seemed to have no recollection of the meeting (even though there’s photo evidence). When he was asked by paparazzi about meeting up with Selena, he denied it and said, “No way! It wasn’t me though.” Right…
The source that observed them added, “They sat at a table inside where they had a little more privacy. They stayed for about 25 minutes before leaving together.”
Selena has forgiven JB after he apologized for his past mistakes.
We guess it really is never too late to say sorry! Life & Style exclusively revealed that the singers were finally hanging out again following Justin’s apology. Selena has been “telling friends she believes she and Justin are adults now and can finally be friends… she still cares about Justin as a person and wants to see him. She believes it’s important to forgive.” Well, if Selena is able to forgive Justin then hopefully her fans will be able to get behind their reunion as well. The “Fetish” singer has been through enough with her health battles and knows what’s best for her life.
The adorable duo were all smiles during a romantic bike ride.
Justin and Selena rode bikes together in LA on Wednesday, Nov. 1 — and, as seen in photos obtained by TMZ, they both looked happier than ever. According to Us Weekly, the Biebs is doing his best to rekindle his romance with the “Wolves” songstress. “Justin really wants to get back with Selena,” an insider told the outlet of the pair, who broke up for the last time in 2014. “He has been texting her nonstop and hangs out with her whenever he can.”
Justin may have written a song for Selena.
The audio leaked online and fans are convinced the Biebs penned the jam for his former flame. Have a listen and see for yourself.
Justin can’t imagine spending his life with anyone else.
Even though they’re taking it slow this time, that doesn’t mean that Justin’s intentions are anything less than honorable. “Justin is in a place now where he feels he is ready for marriage, and that definitely played a large factor in him getting back with Selena,” a source told Hollywood Life. “Justin thinks Selena would be a great mom and she’s the only woman he’s met that he can see himself spending the rest of his life with.”
Justin Bieber’s mom seemingly confirmed that Jelena is back on!
While Selena’s mom might have some hesitations about a reconciliation, it looks like Justin’s mom Pattie Mallette confirmed the news on social media.
